This two day Learn to Lead course is perfect for experienced seconds who want to start leading climbs. As a second, you may be familiar with many of the techniques and skills required for traditional climbing and this course is all about giving you the opportunity to practice placing protection, setting up anchors and developing your rope work. Some important theory aspects will also be covered including how to choose a route and understand climbing guidebooks. You will leave feeling confident in your ability to begin leading climbs and might even be inspired to start working towards your Single Pitch Award qualification.
Previous experience: seconding outdoors, leading indoors, belaying.
