Intermediate White Water Kayaking
Develop your passion for white water kayaking on the South West’s most exciting rivers.
If you want to enhance your existing white water kayaking skills then this is the course for you. Whether you’re returning to kayaking after a long break or simply keeping up the momentum during the next stage of your development, our Intermediate White Water Kayaking course is full of useful hints and tips to help you become a better white water paddler. We will introduce you to modern techniques and develop your decision making ability so that you can paddle white water with a new found proficiency. You will also be given personalised feedback on your progress throughout the course.
We use grade II and III rivers in Devon and Cornwall where you can really experiment with different strokes and skills (including rolling) in a supportive environment. You will leave with the confidence and understanding to paddle white water at an intermediate level which opens up a world of new and exciting challenges. This course is designed for people who are competent paddling class II rivers who are looking to push themselves that bit further.
Previous experience: competent paddling class II rivers, able to roll on flat water.
