Field Study Trips
Dartmoor and the South West provide an array of interesting features suitable for history, geography and geology field trips. The tors, the coastline and the region’s mining history are all accessible to visiting students who can use The Adventure Centre as a base for their studies. We have a classroom at the Centre for preparatory work or debriefs and our ideal location means you will never be far away from the focus of your trip. We also have Nun’s Cross Farm, a remote farm building, in the heart of Dartmoor National Park which can be used by groups who want to stay even closer to the action.
Outdoor activities such as climbing, kayaking or the high ropes course can be included in your itinerary to add something special to your field trip and reward the students for their hard work.
